No. 113 – December 10, 2011

THAT SINKING FEELING

I have to admit, I am not feeling very good about the way things have been going as of late.

As you may remember, I had an open bet with any readers that were just CERTAIN Obama was going to be defeated in 2012.  Now, those who made bets with me are not so sure.

I think I can now GUARANTEE that Obama will win a second term.  And this is not defeatism – it is simply realistic.

Obama has union support across the whole country.

The President has ONE BILLION DOLLARS in campaign funds at his disposal.

He is the incumbent.

He has the Media firmly in his hip pocket.

He does not have to “officially” campaign – although he is doing plenty of that already.

And all he has to do is play the “race card” or the “class warfare card” and the ignorant populace that put him into office in the first place – will do it again.

If you recall, I predicted in a previous newsletter that if the economy starts to turn around – and gas hits $3.00 a gallon by next November – Obama will be a shoo-in.  It is happening right before our very eyes.

But the thing that irks me the most is that the GOP doesn’t really seem to care.

Perry has stepped into the bucket.  He is done.

“Newt” has just stepped into the same bucket with his idiotic statement about Palestine.  He is done.

That leaves us with the illustrious – Romney?  What the hell is going on with the asinine GOP?

But wait.  We had Herman Cain – and he was heading up in the polls – and then he was sniped by the Media.

Yet, the GOP did nothing to really help him in his time of need.

So where are the women now who accused him of sexual molestation?  They are no where to be found.

And why did not the GOP ask the REAL questions that would have put it “out front” for all of us to see?

Why were the REAL questions never put forward?

What kind of questions, you ask?

How about a few of the following – that would have proven – one way or another – who was really telling the truth.  Why was the woman who alleged to have had a 13 year “relationship” with Mr. Cain not questioned in the following manner:

Ma’am, since you were his secret lover – for 13 years – maybe you could answer a few questions for us.

1.  When is his birthday?

2.  What size shirt did Mr. Cain wear?

3.  What was his waist size?

4.  What size shoes did he wear?

5.   How about his hat size?

Don’t know the answers to these questions?  You say that those questions are irrelevant to the conversation?  Then let’s try something a little more “revealing.”

1.  Did Mr. Cain have any distinguishing body marks, such as scars, a birthmark or a tattoo?

2.  Was Mr. Cain circumcised or not?

Uh, oh?  That last one would have been the clincher, if there ever was one.

But nobody had the courage to ask these types of questions.

And I ask, why not?

Because, in my estimation, Herman Cain was NOT the one that the GOP “elite” had in mind.

Not because of his race – but because he was on the outside of the “inner-circle” of the GOP.

And Newt will go down, too.  He is simply too dangerous to have as the GOP “point man.”

And that leaves the man I wrote about months ago – before most people even knew who he was – Jon Huntsman.

I STILL feel that he will make his move – once the clutter of Newt and Romney are finally done away with.

However, in my GUT I still feel that Romney will be the GOP nominee, no matter what – and Obama will then have his second term tied up in a neat package and literally handed to him.

And America will suffer even more in the years to come.

BUT YOU ARE WRONG – NEWT WILL WIN!

Sorry folks, but that is simply not going to happen.

I was having a few beers last night when this subject came up.  One of my friends said, with deep conviction, that once Gingrich gets the nomination, “He will tear Obama apart in the debates.”

What debates, I asked.

“The Presidential debates,” came the convinced reply.

What happens if Obama decides that there will be no debates, I asked.

My friend looked at me dumbfounded but said nothing.

Ladies and gentlemen – Obama will simply state that he is too busy helping the economy on its recovery.

Remember, I said that if gas prices go down and the economy is on the mend – then Obama will get reelected.

It WILL happen – even if the economy is NOT on the mend, he will convince naive voters otherwise.  He is a con man of the first order.

Obama will continue to make speeches – but he will avoid ALL debates – especially with Gingrich, if Newt actually does get the nomination.  But he won’t.

There are no laws that say a President has to have debates.

Obama has never released his school records – not to mention his “birth certificate.”

What makes anybody think they can make him debate Gingrich?

It ain’t gonna happen.

A GOOD GENERAL WILL SECURE HIS RETREAT

Sun Tsu once said, “A good general will secure his retreat – before he goes into battle.”

Sun Tsu also said, “When all the battle plans have been made, once you enter the battlefield, everything will change – and if you do not change –  improvise – then you will lose.”

The GOP – and most Republicans – are pretty much idiots – when it comes to battle tactics – especially POLITICAL battle tactics.

How many readers actually watch MSNBC?  Rachael, Chris, The ED Show and Lawrence?

I will venture a guess that very few indeed take the time to get to know “their enemy.”

And THAT is a fatal mistake – not only for individuals – but the GOP as well.

Nobody seems to understand that what we have in the White House is the Chicago Mafia of Politics.

I have never, in my life, seen such corruption – and see it go on, and on, and on.

I never thought that Watergate could be surpassed.  My mistake, big time.

These political runarounds are exactly what Obama promised to fix if he got elected.  He got elected – and everything just got worse.

We the People seem to have forgotten what has transpired since this group of miscreants took over the Presidency.

Fannie and Freddie have been totally bankrupted.

It was not Barney Frank’s fault.  But BILLIONS went somewhere.  The money just disappeared.

A housing debacle ensued – from which we STILL have not hit bottom.

Solyndra.  Where the hell is that money?  Over $500 MILLION just disappeared.

Guns running into Mexico.

It is not Eric Holder’s fault.  The guns just disappeared.

Jon Corzine simply “does not know” where the money went from his “MF” Investment “Trust.”

Some accounts put the amount that close to a BILLION dollars.

It is not Mr. Corzine’s fault.  It just disappeared.

It is not President Obama’s fault.  He doesn’t know anything about it.

Then – it must be Bush’s fault!

Is anybody starting to see a pattern here?

And this pattern will continue until Obama – and all of his ilk – are thrown out of office.

But the GOP is doing its damnedest to see that this is not going to happen.

And that is what has me completely stumped.

Out of all the good men and women in the GOP – we come up with Newt and Romney?

Is this really the sorry shape that the Republicans have allowed themselves to sink into?

Do we not, in this entire country, have an Eisenhower, a Goldwater or a Reagan?  In the entire United States of America – is Rick Santorum and Rick Perry the best the GOP can do?

If so, then we are completely sunk.

IMPROVISE

I have been called a defeatist by some of my friends of late.  But that is not the case.

I am simply being a realist – and facing facts.

President Obama WILL win the White House in 2012.

So, instead of playing STUPID, the GOP should be spending its millions on supporting EVERY Senate candidate and House candidate that is running as a Republican – and stop Obama from completely bankrupting America for good.

Our Founding Fathers set up a Constitution – with THREE distinct areas of power:

1.  The Executive

2.  The Legislative

3.  The Judicial

It was designed this way for the exact reason that we face today.  A corrupt, out of control Executive Branch, with potential criminals infesting all levels of government.

They need to be voted out – every Democrat in the House and the Senate.  In doing so, a REAL stop will be inflicted on President Obama from permanently ruining the United States of America.

Am I saying that all Democrats are bad and all Republicans are good?  If you even began to think that, then you don’t know me – or what I stand for.

We are going to be at a crossroads in 2012.  We can go the way of Europe – and ALL sink into collective poverty – or we can put a stop to it before we are all screwed.

But WE THE PEOPLE have to start thinking DEFENSE.

And working on our local House and Senate campaigns is the best way to do it.

Right now Scott Brown, in Massachusetts, is on the political ropes.  And apparently the GOP is not going all out to help him get re-elected.

Why not?  Because he is not “Conservative enough.”

What this hell kind of thinking is that?

And this kind of demented, politically suicidal thinking is rampant in the Republican Party.

Kevin McCarthy, a powerful California Republican, did not “like” Meg Whitman, and refused to give her his undying support when she ran for governor.  So in his stupidity, we got saddled with Jerry Brown.

This, my friends, is the classical definition of political suicide.

I have heard many other Republicans say that if Romney is actually nominated, they would “stay home” and teach the GOP a lesson.

Others, mainly Evangelicals, simply will NOT vote for Romney.

Then, there are those morons who say that since Jon Hunstman “worked for Obama” they would “never vote for him.”

WE THE PEOPLE need a lesson in political survival.  If the GOP does not wake up – and wake up fast – then we are ALL going to be up the proverbial creek.

I speak from personal experience.  I am not just blowing off steam here.

When I ran for Congress, there were a lot of Republicans who did not “like me” because I was not “from Washington state.”  I was “an outsider.”  The Evangelicals actively worked against my campaign because they did not like my stand on abortion – so they allowed the GOP to insert their own person – who lost in a landslide to Congressman Rick Larsen.

Mr. Larsen is STILL in Congress, voting with Obama on almost every bill.  Mr. Larsen is a political hack of the first order – but the GOP is so riddled with narrow-minded, “litmus test” bigots, that they would rather ruin their State – and the United States – rather than banding together to work for the good of America.

I submit to you that the GOP will be fully to blame if President Barack Obama is re-elected in 2012, and must be held accountable if that is the case.

I will continue with the beginning of Article II in my next edition of the American Telegraph.

BELATED SALUTE

In a belated THANK YOU to the survivors of Pearl Harbor, I wish to extend my personal thanks for being the greatest generation that this Nation has ever produced.

Not only did the Veterans of World War II defeat Nazi German, and Adolph Hitler, but also Benito Mussolini and the Empire of Japan – all in less than FIVE YEARS.

When you put that into perspective it is almost too much to comprehend.

America owes all of you more than we can every repay.

My humble thanks and total appreciation.

I leave all readers with a final thought.

“It can’t happen here.”

Able Wasserman – overheard by a guard as Mr. Wasserman boarded a boxcar – 1943, Nazi Germany

Best wishes,

Another excellent article, brother. Yes, the GOP are ready to prove once again how to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. After all, they have had a lot of practice. They could have easily come to Herman Cain’s aid, and in a way that would have turned the accusers into the accused. Cain was not prepared for the attacks that were coming, and that was his fault because he did not have the right advisers doing the advising. As far as I am concerned, the directive for the attacks came straight from the White House to the Managers of the Chicago Political Crime Syndicate, those being David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel, who were able to find several women, mostly with ties to Chicago and/or the Obama Administration, and who were in financial difficulty and could be easily used as pawns to eliminate the one candidate that could take away the race card from Obama and force him to campaign on the issues and his record. This is why they feared Herman Cain so much, and if they were not successful in lynching him politically, I believe they would have gone after him or his family physically. It is not only the Chicago Way, but the reason Herman had Secret Service protection and why he ultimately decided that becoming president simply wasn’t worth it. Don’t believe me? Perhaps you should read an article from a black man’s perspective: http://theblacksphere.net/cain-good-ol-days-dems/ a blog written by Kevin Jackson. It may just open a few eyes to the level of corruption this president is capable of. Herman Cain was just an appetizer. Now on to the main course.

Your comments always increase some curiosities and I go goggling to see what I find. There are soooooooooo many facts to find on the Internet; and many to confirm or deny what one reads.

Most interestingly, I tried finding the platforms of both parties.
http://www.democrats.org/ This is the Democrat party web site and I did not find their platform after looking around it.

http://www.gop.com/index.php This is the republican web site and I found their platform after about 8 clicks.

But what I learned from both web sites is the following fact; if you make a donation to either party, is it a tax deduction? Notice the word “NOT”.
“Your contribution is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution for Federal income tax purposes.”

The following web site from the Republican Party had a list of “…big fail..” for Obama Government.

    http://www.gop.com/index.php/briefing/comments/the_big_fail_-_obama_by_the_numbers

Just another adventure on the internet that helps support what you say!!

However, after reading many things, both parties always are opposed on certain issues. But nothing is said about making it better for America or its people.

    Thanks for your postings!!

    Larry,
    Another thought-provoking issue.
If that lead piece doesn’t wake up and scare the living Obama out of the last Pubbies with two functioning cerebral neurons, I don’t know what will.
And you’re SPOT ON concerning those local congressional races. The House STILL has the power of the purse and, if they grow some cajones up there, they can simply refuse to fund Obozo’s campaign to destroy this country.
2012 MAY be our last chance.

A special message for all the Obozo voters, past and future:
“If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”
    Samuel Adams

  • BILLY JOE Says:

Larry, another time I wish I could disagree with you. We have real polished, professional, Chicago politician. And the country – the electorate is being totally/deceived and after almost 3 years can’t see it. What is it going to take

Yes,I saw it California in the 60’s and they are letting it repeat.

  • Jacy Says:

I try to face facts but your comments are not “facts” – as yet. Even sleeping citizens will not put up with Obama cancelling elections – there will be a revolt if that should happen. Comments, as in this missal Larry, and with the elction eleven months away, I do find defeatist. Everything you say “could” happen, but has not happened yet. I cannot allow myself to believe Obama will have another four years – that attitude has obviously been held by the Republicans over the years – we have Obama! And that belief by any of us will certainly aid and abet the Usurper.

I have to admit the GOP is of little or no use and is once again trying to select the candidate – Romney – who will not win the nomination. I believe the Democrats are more afraid of Newt than Romney despite polls (which can be fixed many way). Everyone says Romney will win and can beat Obama but I believe that to be a ruse. The debate is important and Romney cannot compare to what Newt can do and has done in a debate. Perhaps these comments you’ve made will wake voters up to the necessity of fighting against what could happen.

The problem we have is not what Obama is going to do or not do – but what are we going to do? This is the most important election in the history of this country. I think its time to take the gloves off and fight. American’s have been way to apathetic – especially Republicans. The Democrats scream, lie, denigrate and make accusations against conservative candidates (Herman Cain) that’s why they still have ignorant (entitlement wantabe’s) supporters, unions and the MSM. Why is everyone Congress, candidates, GOP afraid of demanding Obama be investigated and reveal all those records he has concealed? Donald Trump seems to be the only one who has the guts to bring it all to the forefront. I hear nothing from Republicans except who to vote for: as for answering the lies or fighting against Democrats and defending candidates they remain silent. (remember they threw Sarah Palin under the bus during the McAmnesty campaign – if they had allowed the Baracudda to say what she wanted to say maybe we wouldn’t have Obama now) – they didn’t come to the defense of Joe Miller against Lisa Murkowski; they trashed Christine O’Donnell the night of her primary win so we ended up with a RINO) They didn’t help Sharron Angle although it was on the web the voting machines had been manipulated. So I guess this election is up to the people. Where are the Tea Partiers when we need them – loud and clear?

  • Andrea Says:

First of all, the ladies have been paid, the media has done their job, Cain knows how it feels to be Sarah Palin, the left has derailed the one candidate that could have beaten Obama handidly and everyone has gone away.
I thought the GOP was off their rocker when they gave us McCain. You knew he could not win against Obama and the billions behind him, not to mention all the corruption. And now we may get Newt. I wonder if the GOP is running the same game. I think the corruption goes deeper than the Obama administration?
I do know this. It is all in God’s hands. He knows before we even think about it. I do not believe He has removed His hands of protection from this country. I wait to see what will transpire and whatever it will be, I will know that He has deemed it so long ago. For me, I hope the time is drawing near when He comes to claim his throne. It is time!!! Evil is about to meet permanent darkness.

  • Andrea Says:

And Larry, you are WRONG about Newt’s comment about the so-called “Palestinians”!!!
