No. 99 – July 30, 2011

DUH?

No, I never use this word.

Nor do I use the mundane phrases that the Mind Police force on a dumbed-down populace, via the Monopoly Media.

“What part of NO don’t you understand?”

“Dude.”

“Cool.”

Cliched words lead to cliched thinking.

And that is where we are now.

Congress is going to wait until “the 11th hour” to “kick the can down the road.”

When I hear people talk in such a vein, I immediately shut them off.

As I do when I see “parents” who tell their children, “Now KIRSTEN, do you want a time out?”

Is parenting now a baseball game?  Time out?  What the hell does that mean?

“I’m telling you JASON, now I am counting, One, Two, Three, Four – Four and a half, Four and three quarters . . . .”

No wonder kids nowadays think their parents are fruitcakes.  And, for the most part, they are right.

Where am I going with this?  Right to the point, that’s where.

We are now run by a majority of idiots.

Let me put it this way.

As I predicted, QE 3 is on the way.

As I predicted, Libya is getting worse – and Gadaffi stays.

As I predicted, We are IN a double-dip recession.  In reality, it is still the same one.

As I predicted, Japan is on the road to recovery – faster than Katrina.

As I predicted, Iraq – according to a “just released” paper – is now “more dangerous” than ever.

And, as I predicted, it is all BUSH’S FAULT!

We are now back to the cliched thinking problem.

Americans are simply not paying attention.

This “Debt-ceiling Crisis” is pure distraction.  It WILL be taken care of – when they are damn good and ready.

And I predict that the Democrats will take ALL the credit – and the Republicans will get all the blame.  The GOP has become that stupid.

But the deception has not quite played itself out yet – as I also predicted.

Ladies and Gentlemen.  PLEASE don’t think I spend all my time watching political developments.  I don’t.  It is just that I know what I see.  And what I see is a PERFECT GAME of, “One, Two, Three, Four, Four and a half . . . .”

We now have one – maybe two – generations of grown CHILDREN running this country.  And no one even seems to notice.

GRANDPARENTS – AND GRAND “CHILDREN”

If there are any Grandparents out their, then this next section will be very easy to understand.

I have three Grandchildren.  Yes, I capitalize  the two words on purpose.  I realize it is not “correct” but I don’t care.

So let’s think for a moment.

If it were not for Grandparents – there would not be any Grandchildren.  And hence, no Parents.

Does that make sense?

What I am getting at is simply this.

When I was a young boy, if I lied – and got caught – my little ass was paddled until I could not sit down.  I learned, at an earlier age that, if you lie – and get caught – you pay a price.

There was no time out. I was not sent to my room.  A punishment was administered – and I learned a lesson, every time I screwed up.

My mother used to wash my mouth out with Ivory Soap when I said a “cuss word.”  I never cussed again until I got into the Army.  Then I discovered that ever other word was “Fuck” so I picked up that habit – and I still use that F-word today.

See, how subtle  cliched thinking can be?  The “F-word.”  What the fuck!

It is all designed to make EVERYBODY THINK THE SAME WAY.

And when everybody is thinking the same way – NOBODY IS THINKING AT ALL.

I hope I am making some sense here.

And does CAPITAL LETTERS now mean that I am yelling?  No, it simply means that I am trying to put emphasis on a certain word, phrase or thought.

Am I “venting?” No, I am stating an opinion – but doing so is now considered “venting” – a very convenient way to portray the “speaker” as “blowing off steam” or “emotionally imbalanced” or just plain nuts.

Do you see how FREE SPEECH is being totally subverted?

We are now AFRAID of using CAPITAL LETTERS – for fear of OFFENDING SOMEBODY.  Capital letters means you are YELLING.  Who the hell made up that rule?  And why do so many people follow it – without question?

How stupid is that line of thinking?

But everybody is thinking that way – so, in reality, no one is thinking at all.

And that is the point of this edition of The American Telegraph.

Nobody is thinking about what is REALLY going on.

The Middle East is ready to explode.  We now have EXTREMISTS on both sides of the political spectrum.

Nobody is even thinking about this.

BUT, everybody IS thinking about their SOCIAL SECURITY check for next month.  I am not worried.  It WILL come.

Yet, no one is even considering our position in the World of 2011.

I just had a very good friend return from a trip to China.  He told me that EVERY Chinese person he spoke with thought President Obama was a complete imbecile.  And the Communist government is not telling them to think that way. They have their own information outlets, and make their own decisions on how they now think.

In China, Obama is considered a dunce.  India considers him a “non-leader.”  England – one of our most staunchest of allies – regard our own PRESIDENT in such low regard – that he was EXCLUDED from the biggest wedding, so far, of this CENTURY.  Canada sniffs, when President Obama’s name is mentioned, Australia laughs – and the whole Middle East gives the United States the finger.

And, as a side note, I picked up my friend at Sacramento Airport last night, the one who has been my political “mentor” since my Congressional run, and gave him a ride to the Capitol Building downtown.  On the way there he told me one thing that blew me away – and in no uncertain terms – that Egypt “is getting ready to fall to the Muslim Brotherhood sometime this year.”  Every one of his predictions have come true, so far.

And, we all watch as Congress, “Kicks the can down the road.”

THE LIE

Grandchildren lie.  And nowadays they get away with it – completely.  Spank them and you are “abusing them.”

Give that concept a little thought.  The GOVERNEMENT can LEGALLY take children away from their parents if they DISCIPLINE their own child.

Does that concept not scare anybody else but me?

Spanking is one thing.  Beating is something else entirely.

In my humble opinion, if a parent refuses to spank a child when he has done something wrong – then that action is CHILD ABUSE.

For a rightfully unpunished child – will grow into a deceitful adult.

And that, my friends is where we are today.

We have a “crowd” now in BOTH houses of Congress – and the White House in particular – that lie and deceive at EVERY point.

“You lie!” was belted out – in Congress – while the President was LYING – and poor old Joe Wilson was FORCED to apologize – for TELLING THE TRUTH.

What the fuck is going on around here?  No wonder the whole Nation is going in circles.

No one is willing to tell the truth for fear of being called a liar.

Franz Kafka is smiling from his grave.

SO, WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

This past week, I was visiting again with my good friend, Steve, and he told me a great line.

His son had been talking with a friend about Obama, and apparently his friend accused Steve’s son of being a RACIST because he did not like President Obama.

Steve, beaming with pride, then told me his son’s classic reply:

“Hey, look.  I don’t like his black half – OR his white half.”

Thanks, Steve!

And that is what I am trying to get at.

Don’t be AFRAID to go against the grain.  When somebody lies – call them on it.

I remember at a dinner function awhile back, where James Carville was attending, when he was lamenting about the lack of courage of President Obama, to wit:

“I wish Hillary Clinton would give him one of her balls – then they both would have TWO!”

This YouTube clip was up for awhile – but has since been taken down.

Why?

Because Carville – like Joe Wilson – told the truth.

Colin Powell once said, “If you want to piss somebody off, tell them the truth.”

If we are to EVER get back to a Sane America again, we are going to have to start calling them liars – to their faces – when we catch them “stretching the truth.”

And the only way you can do that is to find out when your “representative” is in town, go to public meetings, listen – and stand up and yell, “YOU ARE LYING!”

FUNNY STORY

When I was running for Congress in 2004, I attended a Bellingham City Council meeting.  When I finally got to the microphone, I started to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

The Mayor got excited – and had my microphone TURNED OFF.  But I kept on talking, finished my point and then went back to my seat – to a silent and stunned auditorium.

But in the interim of my speaking, I turned around for support from my “friends” sitting directly behind me in the FRONT ROW – only to find them all too busy looking down at their shoes – pretending like they did not even know me.  This is after they voiced “hushed opinions” that I was speaking directly to.

The cowardice of the American People is palpable.

WE THE PEOPLE cannot blame the Government.  That is just like a Grandson blaming somebody else for something he was guilty of doing.

It is NOT the Government’s fault.  It is not Bush’s fault.

It is OUR fault – for allowing the Government to get so big that WE THE PEOPLE are now scared shitless – not only of “our” Government – but of each other.

And that is where the Government Education Scam, the Government Controlled Media, the Government Entitlement System, and the Government Sponsored Politically Correct Thinking has led this Country to.

MY CHALLENGE TO ALL THE BITCHERS AND MOANERS

So here is my challenge to everybody who has NEVER run for elected political office.

Get off your lazy ass, go to meetings, get a few good friends – that you can trust – find out how to run for elected office, and go for it.

No longer be a coward.  Quit your constant bitching and moaning.  Get involved.

It is only when WE THE PEOPLE actually take up the call that we will ever change America – for the better.

Whether you win or lose – until you run for political office, have the courage to stand up and speak in a Public Forum, take all the bullshit, heartache, pain – and ultimate pride and satisfaction of giving it your best shot for your Country – you have no RIGHT to complain.

I dare those of you who have never done it before to get totally involved.

There is a stupid saying in politics that says:

“Only pick those fights that you know you can win.”

In my opinion, this is the perfect definition of a coward.

I remember the first time I got into a fight, in the third grade, with the schoolyard bully.  I was scared, but I kicked his ass.  And when I walked away I felt 10 feet tall.

Answer the CALL.  Stand up.  Serve your Country.

Win or Lose.  You will be proud that you at least tried.

Until next time.

Hope for Real Change – in 2012.

Best wishes and keep thinking positive!

Never heard of Franz Kafka, but I looked him up and a big YES about the truth.

I was President of a Little League program for 6 years, one time I was telling the truth and one person accused me of the pot calling the kettle…! I had many go arounds with coaches and parents, but when I ended by presidency, they gave me one of the biggest parties and it was a roast affair. It was great and also include city councilmen and a county supervisor. So being truthful, standing up for what is right was rewarded with a great time at this party roast.

I just spent two years being President of a High School Booster Club. It was going down the tubes. I worked to get school admin involved, wrote a 15 page policy and procedures information pamphlet. Got people thinking why this group existed and what it meant to have this group operating for the school. Now, I can see if the poeple learned anything and will follow-through. Something tells me it will be hard because do they really know the truth of how to operate this organization?

You want to learn a simple account about the debt and spending situation, then check out Congressmen’s Tom McClintock column at this web site: http://mcclintock.house.gov/2011/07/debt-crisis.shtml

In case you agree or disagree with what this Klepinger is pointing out, that is not the issue, the points he makes is the issue. Truthfully, it is!

Larry, another interesting post. A couple of points:

    1) “As I predicted, Japan is on the road to recovery – faster than Katrina.”

I’m really not so sure about this. There’s been a lot of foot-dragging and corruption around the “rebuilding” this end. For example:

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/has-cronyism-wrecked-japans-longterm-repair-2308084.html

    2) “England – one of our most staunchest of allies – regard our own PRESIDENT in such low regard – that he was EXCLUDED from the biggest wedding, so far, of this CENTURY.”

I think English feelings about Obama are mixed. We’re happy that he’s black(ish)… Regardless of his personal qualities, this is an important step for minorities and a powerful symbolic assertion of what the US really stands for; we like the fact that he’s intelligent and articulate (such a refreshing change!) and can spell and things like that. We are disappointed that he has pretty much failed to deliver on virtually all of his promises (and promise), and I think it’s been a revelation for us to see just how powerless the “leader of the free world” can be.

  • Michael Kruse Says:

Oh, and we REALLY don’t like that he removed the bust of Churchill from the Oval Office!

  • Tom Cox Says:

If our current problems are not all Bush’s fault they are at least damn close to it!! Let’s be generous and say he is only responsible for 98% to 99%. You want frank talk Larry!!! Fine, I’ll give you some. Bill Clinton, for all that he had some serious faults, was overall a damn good president who erased a deficit created by Bush senior and Reagen. He turned that into a surplus and the American economy into an absolute powerhouse. Bush junior completely destroyed the surplus by rushing into an unnecessary war against Saddam saying; “after all this is the guy who tried to kill my dad.” You talk about how little respect Obama has Larry, how much damn respect did Bush junior have. I’ll tell you how much; ZERO!!! The great Republicans of the past; people like Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and Douglas McArthur would have rolled in their grave if they could have seen how Bush junior acted. Both the Republicans and the Democrats of the first half of the twentieth century were completely different from the ones we see today. Somewhere along the line we lost the vital, moderate center in this country. At the same time intelligence, charisma, sensitivity to the needs of ordinary Americans, military expertise, and many other qualities that all presidents should have, somehow became devalued. What has changed and why? You really need to address these questions with a bit more perspacacity and historical depth, Larry.

Larry, thanks for another great edition of your newsletter. One of the greatest statements ever made was made by Upton Sinclair when he observed “It’s amazing what a man will believe to be true that isn’t when he’s paid a large sum of money to believe it.” This might be slightly paraphrased but you get the point. This statement is as true, or more so, today than when it was first uttered by Sinclair, author of “The Jungle.” Even Al Gore’s “an inconvenient truth” turns out to be less than truthful. One of the major problems we have today is that the people have been provided with so many government-backed and supported circuses that they no longer have time for data gathering and lengthy conversations about what it all means. They are seeking the “silver bullet” solution to everything. The dumbing-down of America is well underway and does not bode well for her future. Keep your interesting posts coming. By the way, Clinton owes much of his ultimate success to two things — the Contract of America by Newt Gingrich that forced welfare reform beginning with the Republican takeover of Congress in 1994 and the timeliness of the Oklahoma City bombing which came just as his approval rating was in the basement. As for Bush Jr., he should go down in history as the absolute worst president in history.

  • Kathy Says:

Another post “Well Done”. I always enjoy your comments and attitude which are so like Kent’s. You two have a lot in common despite all the years that have passed since your last face-to-face in Vietnam so many decades ago.

Kent and I have been working to expose the wrongdoing in the courts, by banks, lawyers, and in public and private places wherever it finds its way to us (we do not go looking for it!) , and in this process we are helping a number of people with a myriad of problems. The corruption in our present day truly stinks to high heaven.

Through lawful and peaceful means we are bringing many wrongdoers to account. You could say we are “kicking ass and taking names”, but it would take volumes to explain, so that will have to wait for another day. Just know that Kent and I are daily working for Truth, Justice and the American Way.

I feel inspired to let your readers know that there are people out here truly fighting the good fight, and often that fight is not conventional. The great number of these people are well over 50, yet we are witnessing young people coming around, some slowly waking up, some just feverish for True Freedom!

Here is some Truth that few want to hear, so I can think of no better place to air it than here! It is a fact that during our Civil War period, our country was hijacked by imposters who set up the de facto system that we all think is our government. They have slowly and stealthily been working 24/7 ever since to build the slave system that we have today. They have taken our law and used it against us. They have deceived us in every possible way. I’m sure that many of the deceivers were deceived themselves.

But the Truth remains. We are no longer the constitutional republic established by our founding fathers and the imposters are finally showing their true faces. They stayed hidden in plain sight for decades by convincing people they were stupid if they believed “conspiracy theories”. Well, now people really are waking up to the fact that America is being stripped of her wealth, her freedom and her dignity, and worse, we are facing quite formidable foes who want everything America has and want all of us DEAD!

Very few people know that the Republic of the united States has been reinhabited – YES, REINHABITED – and operating by purely constitutional guidelines by good, decent, America-loving people of all races, who will be there standing when this house of cards falls. This was accomplished in April 2010 by the government’s own Tacit Agreement (that means the Federal Government and all 50 States), and The People of these 50 republics have been busy building ever since, peacefully and lawfully.

There are now 50 interim governors, 50 interim houses of congress, and 50 interim judicial branches, as well as a national interim president (a good and decent man), an interim house of representatives, an interim senate and interim Supreme Court. County governments are building in every state of the union, and the republic of Riverside county is the fastest growing and most fully developed in the entire nation. The Republic of the united States is recognized internationally and freedom loving people all over the globe are inspired by what they are seeing and expressing interest in establishing republics for themselves.

As hokey as it may sound to some, these people were all elected by the free people who participated in the vote to establish interim government, and people who are participating range from 14 to 84 years old. We have attended many meetings of both California Republic and Riverside Republic, and I can assure your readers that these are ordinary American people who are sensible, realistic and sincere. Americans are standing up all over the country, and soon Free People will be standing all over the globe.

The Great American Experiment is proving that it DOES work, and a miracle is unfolding before our eyes if we just muster up the courage to look at what is really happening. We are not a people to cower in the dark and wait for the bogey man to come. We are a fiercely brave and courageous people who will not stand for the tyranny we see creeping over our country at every level of government.
So, for those who endeavor to clean up the de facto government, I say BRAVO!! And for those who are preparing our Plan B, I say GOD BLESS them! These are people who know they could end up in FEMA camps for their efforts, but they love Freedom more than security.
I truly hope that your readers keep an open mind, do the research for themselves, and carefully assess the state of our country before they put down the efforts of people who are building for a better future. We can all lament what has happened, what we have LET happen, but how much better to do something positive.
So thank you, Larry, for getting me off my duff to write this. Like everyone else, I feel the pressures of getting through day by day. But I also know it is time to share what I know with others and to step up those efforts. Come what may, I cannot be silent during trials like these. My forebears didn’t cross the Atlantic to escape Tyranny in England to establish Freedom in America, to have it all slip into savage slavery.
May peace be with you all and may your spirits be lifted by the knowledge of Who We Are!

“All the extravagance and incompetence of our present government is due, in the main, to lawyers, and, in part at least, to good ones. They are responsible for nine-tenths of the useless and vicious laws that now clutter the statute-books, and for all the evils that go with the vain attempt to enforce them. Every Federal judge is a lawyer. So are most Congressmen. Every invasion of the plain rights of citizens has a lawyer behind it. If all lawyers were hanged tomorrow, and their bones sold to a mah jong factory, we’d be freer and safer, and our taxes would be reduced by almost half.”
