THE FAR-LEFT AND THE FAR-RIGHT – HERE WE GO AGAIN
There is little difference between these two groups when it comes to personalities and pure acts of utter stupidity.
Over the last five days I have been bombarded with e-mails from the Evangelical Right, gleefully referring to some poll that took place a few days ago, saying that 75% of Americans now think that there should be some form of control on abortion.
Their excitement is palpable – and their idiocy is still firmly intact.
As did the Far-Left readers right after Obama snookered them into believing everything he said – and promptly broke every major campaign promise thus far – now the Evangelical Right is doing the same thing – AGAIN. At least, many of the Liberals are starting to wake up.
But not so, the Evangelical Element.
Many have written to say, “See I told you so.”
“We should stand on our Family Values and not give in to abortion or gay marriage.”
All I can say is, some people never learn.
Yes, the Republicans have a tremendous opportunity to gain a very large number of seats in 2010.
But if they start their hypocritical jargon of Family Values – it will backfire big time. Exactly like it did in 2004, 2006 and 2008.
DON’T THESE PEOPLE EVER WAKE UP?
Apparently not. I will say it again. The GOP should expunge (that means throw out, for all of you still stuck in Bellingham) the whole lot of them – and start afresh with New Republicans.
Let’s think logically for one minute. If a person is Pro-Life it stands to reason that the opposite is Anti-Life.
I do not know anybody who is Anti-Life.
I have, and always will be, Pro-Life. But Pro-Life is a misnomer from the get-go.
The argument is PRO-CHOICE or ANTI-CHOICE.
That is where we should be directing out attention.
The Woman and the man responsible should have the CHOICE to make their own decision as to what to do – Abortion or no abortion.
But the Evangelical Right doesn’t see it that way. They want GOVERNMENT to step in and tell the people what they should do.
But please remember, if a precedent is set, whereby the GOVERNMENT can tell a woman not to have an abortion – then that same government can, at its own discretion, tell a woman TO have an abortion.
And all things being equal – and no sex discrimination – the GOVERNMENT could tell a man if he should, or should not be castrated.
What is good for the goose is good or the gander.
Am I getting through here?
As a New Republican I stand for LESS GOVERNMENT intervention, not more as the Evangelical Element wants.
And they want the same GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION with regard to homosexuals.
When in Hell’s name are these people going to wake up?
In reality, the Evangelicals want a Theocracy – not a Republic, nor a Democracy.
I see no difference between the Evangelical bent and the Radical Muslim Theocracy – only in the “Religious” beliefs they aspire to.
I do NOT want anything to do with a Theocracy.
Heaven forbid if the GOVERNMENT and the CHURCH get together on this. Can you imagine what a mess that would be?
SO WHAT SHOULD WE DO?
If you don’t believe in abortion – don’t wave it like a banner. State your belief – and move on.
If you think that marriage should only be between a man and a woman, state your belief – and move on.
But to continually pontificate on it is NOT the way to win votes.
I have always been against abortion – but in favor of freedom of choice.
I find it odd how men are always trying to regulate what women do with their bodies.
The Evangelical Right and the Radical Muslims have more in common than they want to admit.
FORGET IT
Forget the Abortion and Homosexual “social issues” and move directly on to the following:
1. National Defense.
2. Securing our Borders with the National Guard.
3. Establishing a National Healthcare System designed to be completely free of choice. Why not just base it on the type of healthcare that the Congress already enjoys? Seems pretty simple to me.
4. Abolish the Federal Office of Education – and give the running of schools back to the states – and back to private schools, alternative schools and home schooling. And simply, back to the parents.
5. Balance the budget – by cutting spending.
6. Establish some form of Flat/Fair Tax and ABOLISH THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE FOR GOOD.
7. Make a concerted effort to harness sun power in five years. We can do it – if we really want to. In the meantime, convert all cars to Natural Gas within 18 months. This can be done RIGHT NOW. All city busses in Sacramento are Clean Air Natural Gas Powered. It CAN be done.
These are just a few of the things that I was talking about during my campaign in 2004 – but the Evangelical Element was bound and determined to only talk about Abortion and Gay Rights.
Remember, the Log Cabin Republicans (a very conservative – but openly homosexual group) was denied recognition to join the GOP because the Evangelicals were running the show. If they would have accepted the Log Cabin Republicans – Dino Rossi would be Governor of Washington today. He only lost by about 500 votes. There are thousands of Log Cabin Republicans.
Well, thanks to the Evangelicals, they ran the GOP right into the ground.
I say it is time the Evangelical Element be run out of the Republican Party.
If this is not done – and done pronto – the GOP is in for another humiliating defeat in 2010.
New Republicans – Unite!
YOU AND YOUR PREDICTIONS
I took a lot of heat about some of my predictions from a number of readers. A few even challenged me saying, “Since you think you know it all, why don’t you make a list of predictions so we can keep count and see how good you REALLY are.
Well, that is fine by me, so here is a LIST that you can keep track of and see for yourself what happens:
1. In my opinion Goldman Sachs is the closest thing we have to a legal criminal organization – the United States Congress not withstanding.
Goldman Sachs will, therefore, make a huge profit this quarter. Remember, they helped to put their main competitor, Lehman Brothers, out of business. They received TARP money. Their shares were $78 just a few short months ago. They are now over $150 per share. Henry Paulson, Tim Geithner, Ben Bernanke and a whole slew of others worked for Goldman Sachs. They are all now tied to the most powerful sub-arm of the United States Government – the FED. And Goldman Sachs donated MILLIONS of dollars to the Obama campaign.
2. Interest Rates will be 7.50% by the end of 2009.
3. Housing will lose another 20% across the board before it bottoms out – if we are lucky.
4. Unemployment will hit 15% – again, if we are lucky.
5. Cap and Trade will be defeated.
6. Sonia Sotomayor will be confirmed.
7. Gasoline will be around $3.10 by 2009 – again, if we are lucky.
8. Israel will strike Iran’s Nuclear facilities this year: Once the US pulls out of Iraq, it will collapse; America will be defeated in Afghanistan. Alexander the Great could not beat them, the Russians could not beat them, and America will not beat them. Has anybody actually even looked at the country’s territory and terrain? It is simply absurd to think that we have the resources to bring this country to its knees. It will be a disaster for both countries if America keeps up with this insane policy.
9. A Second Stimulus (actually this is #3) will not be approved.
10. The GOP will score big if it finally wakes up and returns to its Conservative Roots – and gets rid of the divisive and destructive Evangelical Element.
LINCOLN AND GOLDWATER
If you think I am being too harsh on the Evangelicals, I only ask you to read your history to see how they treated one of our greatest presidents, Abraham Lincoln. They were ruthless in their slanderous attacks on him, throughout his presidency.
And as for Goldwater, they badgered one of our greatest Conservative Thinkers all the time he was alive – simply because he did not have a problem with homosexuals in the military.
So, as you can see from a historical perspective, the Evangelicals have been a thorn in the side of the Republicans for a long, long time.
They were so bad that the Democrats finally let them leave their party – and they crawled over to the Republicans, with promises of victory if they were to be let into the tent.
Well, the Republicans let them in – and now we have Obama.
You be the judge.
SAYONARA – FOR THREE MONTHS
Akiko and I are going to Japan for three months. I am doing research on my third book and need to investigate the total transportation system in Japan – and see how it can be implemented here in America.
If you have never ridden a train or bus in Japan, you are missing a real treat. Their system is the most punctual, clean and efficient transportation layout in the world – bar none.
Compared to our AMTRAK, it makes our country’s transportation grid look Third World – and believe me, I have been to, lived in, and worked in the Third World.
I hope to have my next book to the printer before the election of 2010. I have been inundated by past supporters to put together a primer with NEW ideas and concepts for up and coming candidates to draw upon for their campaigns.
A number of people have been actually challenging me to get back into politics and “make a difference.”
Who knows, maybe I will.
But for now, Sayonara and,
Best wishes,

Barbara Says:
I am an AAmeerican woman and I believe that if the pregnant woman feels she shoul;d have an abortion then she should be able to do so. After all we are a free country aren’t we? If she has been raped then the father should not have a choice or say so but if both parents want the abortation what is the big deal. Do we not have enough children in the foster care searching for parents . everyone wants to adopt a baby and the government does not make then choose an older child. But would rather leave those ones there and make people who do want children carry them against their will.
July 21st, 2009 at 2:21 pmWhere is the freedom at I ask? Most of the people who are against the abortations are rich so let them adopt the ones that are waiting right now when they are all adopted then go for the babies.
Doc Dolan Says:
I could not agree more Larry. As ALL typical politicians do – they obfuscate the real issues with issues that are inflammatory and get the ire of the people aroused. NO POLITICIAN is ever going to please all of the people all of the time. Yet, they keep saying they do! Just listen to them speak! Obama is a perfect example. He is, without a doubt, one of the sharpest public speakers to come along in many, many years. As my Mom used to say, “he could double the price of a refrigerator and sell it to an Eskimo that did not have electricity!” My main problem with him is he tells everyone “what they want to hear”, very convincingly too, and then does what he wants to do; which is to push us to socialism enhancing the power of the few over the many.
I would like to see the Republicans LIMIT their entire platform to smaller, less intrusive government, balanced budgets, less taxes (it will come with the previous 2) and removal or rewriting of ALL laws and regulations that you have to be a “Philadelphia Lawyer” to even understand all the words, and all laws that are no longer needed.
Do a major TORT Reform at all levels. This alone will save BILLIONS in the cost of goods sold. It is a fact; all know it; so I will not belabor it here.
Close all the loopholes in the laws that benefit only a relative select few. Apply the K.I.S.S. theory to everything the government does.
Protect and rebuild OUR COUNTRY first! We are in dire financial trouble while we support a large percentage of the third world countries. We have shown them what can be done, if they want to. If they desire what we have, let them work for it – without our financial support. They have shown time and again that they do not appreciate it anyway. Bring our money home, where it belongs, in America.
Another thing we should think about doing as a society is: Stop the progressively growing ‘entitlement society’ by refusing to pay for most of it. If people can’t profit from it, they won’t bother taking it most of the time. Set government entitlement programs to minimums by passing and instituting rules that basically say you ARE going to work to pay for your support, there is no more free lunch. Everyone needs help sometime, help them, but put very strict controls on it and then enforce them.
Can’t find work? Want welfare, food stamps, WIC and all the other ‘freebies’ that are being passed out today? Cool! Step right up and you can work in the community, doing things the ‘now lean and smaller governments’ can’t afford to hire government employees to do, like sweeping streets, cleaning up graffiti, painting benches in the park, building public works projects, working in daycares and pre-schools (for children of other working government aid recipients), etc. Your checks will be issued on Fridays – AFTER you complete a full week of work. You have very, very few legitimate reasons why you can’t work. Applications for whether or not you have to work before you get your checks will be decided on and approved or disapproved by a group of the very same people who are currently receiving checks and having to work for them, with re-application and review every 6 months. While getting checks and not working you should be trying hard to correct the problem that stops you from working, as this approval will not continue into infinity – it will stop sooner than later in most cases. All benefit levels will be set upon your entry into the programs, and they will not ever change. Your checks will not increase just because you cannot control your natural urges to breed, while receiving government assistance. If you cannot afford to have children – you shouldn’t have them! It is not the governments’ job to support you or your growing family, deal with it. Once you receive government assistance and get off the programs, you will not ever get them again – make the most of it and make something of yourself while getting it. Everyone needs a second chance – here’s yours, use it wisely, you will not get it again.
Basically, if you refuse to help yourself as much as you can, then we are not going to support you for the rest of your life. Period. You get out of life what you put into it. If you are not willing to put some effort in – you will NOT get anything out of it from the government.
Another thing we need to do is go back to where all PARENTS ARE 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CHILDREN’S ACTIONS. This means financially and personally. If your children are running around getting in trouble – the PARENT is financially responsible for the things they do – period. NO excuses! They do it – YOU pay for it. If a child gets caught doing something and is sentenced to do community service – the PARENT will do TWICE THE AMOUNT of community service the child receives as punishment. This WILL motivate parents to actually parent! They are your children – know where they are and what they are doing – it’s YOUR job, not societies.
TEACHERS – We have standardized tests already in place at all grade levels, we use them all of the time. We need to make the teachers responsible for teaching, not just for administering the classes. Continued salary levels and increases of any kind are to be made DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL to the job being done. This should extend all the way UP the chain of professional command. The mean average increase of a teachers students in basic education will decide whether or not a teacher gets a raise, stays the same, gets a reduction or is terminated or suspended until they learn to do a better job. Once again, NO excuses – do the job or find another. High schools and above will have a politically balanced curricula and staff at all levels. No longer will publicly available and publicly paid for education be a 90% or better liberal bastion of brainwashing and indoctrination. By the time our children get to these levels in schooling they need to be shown the world from ALL political sides and allowed to make the decision for themselves which way is best and which to support. Liberals hiring and promoting Liberals in our colleges and universities has gotten us into this mess, by brainwashing young minds, it is time to fix it.
A short point about college and university level studies: Our colleges and universities should not be in any business except education and research. They SHOULD NOT be in the business of training and developing professional sports players. Playing sports in schools was originally designed to allow those leading the ‘sedentary lifestyle’ of a student to get some physical exercise to maintain health and wellness. The old argument that great sports teams are needed to recruit the brightest students and researchers is a fallacy. The really bright students are not on the sports teams; they are studying, like they should be in school. A great many of the best schools in the world, for the brightest and very best students, DO NOT EVEN HAVE SPORTS TEAMS! They are not packed with students, usually on full ride+ scholarships, that the faculty “has to pass” so they can keep playing on the team – they are there to educate!
I am a realist – most, if any, of these ideas will never be implemented in my lifetime. Because the politicians of today know they will not be re-elected if they propose and support them. With most politicians Job Preservations is ALWAYS “Job One”. Some, like ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid admit it openly … “everything I have done the last five years is for my re-election” in 2010. But, if we changed the politicians – we could get a good start on some of them! Think 2010!
If you are not a part of the solution … you are a part of the problem! Which are you?
