NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR MAIN-STREAM MEDIA
I am sure that every person reading this newsletter has been taken for a ride by some sort of fantastic article or, piece of information, that has been “verified” by Snoops or some other bogus “authority.”
So, I was very skeptical when I got a call a few weeks ago from one of my most trusted “sources” who assured me, in no uncertain terms, that “this is the truth.”
However, I was not convinced enough to write it in the American Telegraph – simply because it was too much of a stretch for even me to consider. Besides that, I had a very difficult time actually verifying it to be true.
But having just read the Monday edition of Investor’s Business Daily, October 1, 2012, page A17, I was shocked to actually read what my source had told me in mid-September. My full apologies go out to him for not printing his information at the time. What a scoop that would have been. I will never doubt his word again.
In the article, written by Mark Steyn, he states that, “The Benghazi slaughter was not a spontaneous movie review that got a little out of hand but a catastrophic security breach and humiliating fiasco for the U.S.”
NO. That is not the news that shocked me. What follows IS what blew me out – and was related to me by my source in exactly the same manner – and detail.
“Even more extraordinary, on Sept. 14, fewer that two dozen inbred, illiterate goatherds pulled off the biggest single destruction of U.S. airpower since the 1968 Tet Offensive, invading Camp Bastion (an unfortunate choice of name) in Afghanistan, killing Lt. Col Christopher Raible, and blowing up a squadron of Harriers.
Mr. Styne goes on to say, “And, even though it was the third international humiliation for the U.S. in as many days, it didn’t even make the papers.”
Did you just digest what I wrote? Does it not shock you to the core of your being? Well, it did me.
Please note – it didn’t even make the papers. I did find it, finally, on the Marine Corps News website and also on www.defpro.news – but not ONE newspaper even took the time to print the story.
SO, WHAT IS THE POINT?
Although it was on the Internet – no newspaper in the ENTIRE COUNTRY carried the story.
This is simply incredible. I now wonder why it took this long for it to finally make it to IBD. In short, the story could not be verified – thorough other PRINT MEDIA sources.
So, in reality – and in WE THE PEOPLE’S social consciousness – this attack DID NOT HAPPEN.
Is there anybody who saw this news in their local newspaper? Anyone see it in the New York Times? How about TIME or NEWSWEEK magazines?
Well then, what about on TELEVISION?
The answer is NO to all of the above.
BUT, we did see Obama on THE VIEW and LETTERMAN.
Again, this type of cover-up is simply incredible. What kind of Government Conspiracy are WE THE PEOPLE calmly putting up with?
I have been accused of being a conspiracy nut in the past. All well and good. It comes with the territory.
But, does this kind of SELECTIVE MASS-MEDIA COVERAGE not even outrage anybody – except me?
If we pretend that the killing of our service men and women – not to mention the destruction of military aircraft that reportedly cost over $20,000,000 EACH – does not merit FRONT PAGE NEWS – then we are a lot farther down the path to TOTALITARIANISM than I first suspected.
All the people who, in good faith, called me a conspiracy kook, had better sit up, pull their collective heads out of their south end – and do it pronto.
If this kind of MAIN-STREAM MASS MEDIA does not piss each and every person off – then we are in extremely deep trouble.
And if the Obama Administration is allowed to continue to pull this kind of political bovine excreta, then we have only ourselves to blame.
If anyone still doubts what is going on in this country – and if anybody still votes for this so-called president that now infests WE THE PEOPLE’S House – then shame on you.
If that is the case, then a pox on all your houses.
If this uber-maniac is re-elected, it only leaves me shuddering to think of what he really meant when he told the Russian Prime Minister Medvedev to, “Tell Vladmir that, after the election, I will be more flexible.”
My question is, more flexible to do what?
And, since when does our so-called president call the president of Communist Russia by his first name?
What in the hell is going on here?
As I write, there are protests in Russia about Putin’s growing power. For crying out loud, the son-of-a-bitch just put girls into prison for singing protest songs. How many times they have been beaten, tortured and raped is anybody’s guess.
Is anyone even listening anymore?
Where is the REAL OUTRAGE?
We all might be herded into boxcars before we even realize what is happening.
Please remember, the Austrians – as smart as they were noted as being – welcomed Adolph Hitler with open arms – as did the “intelligent” German populace. And Adolph Hitler ascended to power through the Democratic Process.
It can’t happen here? Sorry folks. It CAN happen here.
WE THE PEOPLE had better wake us – and wake up soon.

As I watched Pat wax apoplectic over their TREASON, Mr. Jefferson’s warning kept looping through my alleged brain, to wit:
“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.”
As Caddell observes, the MSM have nearly completely abdicated their end of that bargain which caused the Founders to list freedom of speech and the press in the FIRST AMENDMENT.
That said, the proliferation of ALTERNATIVE media today renders the excuse “Gee, I just didn’t KNOW” as hollow as the heads from whence it issues. My point is that most people wallow in ignorance because knowing of criminal activities by those in high places makes them “uncomfortable” and, once known, cannot be UNKNOWN! They then either deny/reject the information or, if they are moral folk, they stew about it for a few hours then push it out of their minds, never to return. Perhaps one in a million will attempt to DO SOMETHING. That “something” is often just a letter to the editor of their local cageliner (which will never see daylight) but makes the writer feel better enough to resume his life.
Let me repeat Mr. Jefferson’s caveat lest we forget that we’re on the verge of abandoning the civilization he and the others ATTEMPTED to leave us:

Hello Larry-
Actually it received a little more coverage than you think. Mainly because Prince Harry was in exile there when it happened.
Fox News ran the story for a couple of days, the N. Y. Times had a small blurb, but it did not get nearly the attention that it should have – except from the BBC.
Its good to get a little prospective from around the world – quite often if you read the overseas news frequently you stumble across stories that will make your jaw drop but that you never get a whiff of stateside.

Unfortunately this country is populated by a segment of cowards as well as the ignorant because they simply don’t listen to news or reports, much less do not do research and some cases don’t care. Their philosphy is let someone else take care of it. Then there are the welfare addicts who border on stupidy, and who want free cell phones and all the give aways the entitlement members of Congress have figured out how to give in order to get more votes – that also includes the illegal aliens that we support and who send their money back to Mexico. I wonder what happened to a majority of citizens who apparently no longer care whether this country lives under freedom and liberty or a Marxist Muslim dictator. I seriously doubt if some even know the difference. I never thought I would say this but I now believe much of the downfall in this country is due to the lack of moral values that has erroded since WW!!. Marriage has declined; babies born to unwed mothers where there is no family center to speak of thus children are not mentored nor taught, soon find drugs, drop out of school. Basically uneducated. Students no longer are taught American history, do not understand the Constitution or are even aware of it. Sex has become a mere handshake to many. Out of all this Obama was born because those who voted for him were intrigued by “Hope and Change” or that he was “black”…because of all of the above. The fact that the Democrats denigrated Bush every day of his presidential life might have been an influence. I am certain that those who have given their all and lies in graves all over the world are sadly turning over.
Hitler promised peace while running for Chancellor. Then he invaded Poland, then Europe. He took away their guns, free speech – left millions and millions dead and Germany in flames. History sometimes repeats itself – coward ought to beware.

Thanks Mr. Klepinger yet again, for bringing to light that which the main stream media entertainment experience does not. The sad truth is Mr. Winstead is correct, if you want to get at least a sense of what is really going on in the world you need to look at news broadcast from the BBC and other foreign news sources. Unfortunately much of the formatted News Shows in the US have become so formatted and ratings driven that they are not want to give us any real news. That and it would seem that it might upset the current administration, God forbid they do that…
Pretty sad folks with the exception of a few outspoken people like Mr. Klepinger who research what they print so that they are known to be reliable. Well at least we have that, and owe it to those brave souls like Mr. Klepinger to spread the word that their blogs exist. Perhaps some of those over “entitled recipients” of the Government hand outs will finally see that their’s is no free lunch and that we are all in fact paying for their “free cell phones” along with so many other failed government social programs.

Whats new??? The war is not popular any more to the News Media. More important is the election and any other ridiculous unimportant trivia that it can find—of which there is lots.
I can hardly imagine it is a conspiracy but rather a very lax and unfocused news media dependent on ratings and not real news content.

What can I say, I’ve read what you have said, and I have read many things. Obama is working on two agenda’s in my opinion.
One is to keep “We the people” baffled that he is working for us, and the other is a world agenda that is not OUR position, but that I his; and he is getting away with it.
The next time I hear someone tell me they are voting for the better of two evils, Obama, I going to tell them they are not up-to-date with world policy and what it is doing to the USA. Let alone how buffaled we are about what is happening in our country.
Just wait two more year and everyone will realize Obamacare is a tax system blinded by selling better insurance; besides that, how many riders where on that bill in order to get votes. How sad!!

What will it take to wake up the American people = the Electorate? I had read on the internet an article by a columnist about the destruction of the Harriers that are no longer in production and can not be replaced. It is as if this was something that was super secret and couldn’t be released. The enemy new all about it and our military including the service men and the Marine pilots were aware.
It is just beyond anything we have ever seen in this country. The power of the liberal media and the effect on the American Public. Is there any hope that some alert citizen will be able to expose what is happening? Is there not someone that lived through WWII in Germany, Austria or Poland, Netherlands and the rest of Europe that will speak out. I spent a bit more than 5 years in Germany and visited those countries. The Germans will just not discuss it except to say they had no choice but to follow because to resist they would be killed or sent to the Concentration Camps. Those in the conquered countries were still angry.
It is surely nothing to look forward to but really something to fear. Something to reveal and do something about before it is too late. Thanks Larry for doing your part. Please know we support you and appreciate your efforts

A couple of points.
i) I don’t find anything odd in one head-of-state’s referring to another (albeit ex-) head-of-state by first name. Churchill is said to have referred to Stalin as Joe, for example.
ii) Don’t jump to conclusions regarding the “suppression” of the bad news about the Afghanistan raid. The deaths of Palestinian civilians in Israeli raids goes routinely unreported in the American media. Chomsky was once curious about this, and after an especially egregious slaughter by an Israeli helicopter gunship destroying an apartment block and killing several children of Palestinian families, he asked his students all over the US to approach the newspapers and ask why it was not reported. What was interesting was that there had NOT been a conspiracy. The editors had all decided by themselves, without consultation, to suppess this news item.
